I have been on eHarmony now for three month and not single date. Why such bad luck or is this just normal?

Question by confusedguy: I have been on eHarmony now for three month and not single date. Why such bad luck or is this just normal?
It just seems like I have heard of so many people having good luck with internet dating having a couple dates a month or more. I haven’t had a single date yet. Does everybody else have this problem or is it just me?

Online dating is a numbers game. It’s math.

The idea is…If you put your profile out there in front of 1000s of people, some of them around bound to like it. It’s similar to ho chasing.

It’s not always going to work. And you shouldn’t feel bad about it because fact is, the internet is a terrible tool for marketing yourself. It does nothing to show your energy, body language, etc…

  • Just Want To B Me

First of all, dating doesn’t happen overnight. You need to take your time. There are a lot of dating sites you can go to. I actually met my husband on Yahoo Personals 6 years ago. We have been married 3 out of the 6.

You just need patience. Meeting online is a lot different than in person.

    Good Luck!

Maybe it’s the clever marketing of these sites that makes it *seem* as if so many people are having good luck. My hunch is that your experience is closer to the norm.

  • Im going to report you

Im a woman and would never go on these dating sites. It’s a waste of time and money if of course you dont find a free site. I prefer meeting someone in person from the start and becoming friends first. You should meet someone in person. I think then you’ll have better luck.
